The program has been given a major makeover, replacing the weird car-radio-style interface with a more traditional look. This surprisingly good anti-virus program offers real-time and on-demand protection and, unlike similar tools, won't bother you unnecessarily. It automatically scans your system once a week and you can choose whether it should perform a Quick or Full Scan. The software comes with basic membership to Microsoft SpyNet, an online community that helps to prevent the spread of malware.

This suite comprises an anti-virus tool, an intelligent personal firewall and an SL and IPSec Virtual Private Network (VPN) that lets you access another computer over the internet.
